Mode: SSB, CW, Mixed

Power: Low: < 100W, High: > 100W (Max permitted as per their Country License regulations)

Bands: 40, 20, 15, 10 M

Categories:

  • Single Op All Band (SSB/CW/Mixed) (Low/High)
  • Single Op Single Band (SSB/CW/Mixed) (Low/High)
  • Exchange: VU: RS(T) + 2-letter State/UT code; Non-VU: RS(T) + Serial Number
  • Work stations: Once per band per mode

QSO Points:

  • VU-Station: 1 point per QSO with VU station
  • VU-Station: 3 points per QSO with DX station
  • Non-VU–Station: 3 points per QSO with VU station

Multipliers:

  • VU-Station: each DXCC entity once per band per mode
  • Non-VU-Station: each VU state/UT once per band per mode

Scoring:

  • Score Calculation: Total score = total QSO points x total multipliers

  • SSB – “CQ VU DX Contest”

Log Submission

  •  Each log entry must show the following – correct date and time in UTC, frequency / band, call sign of the station worked, RS(T) sent and received along with running serial number (VU) or State Code (DX).
  • Single band entrants are required to include contacts made in other bands too. Only contacts made on the bands specified in the Cabrillo header file will be considered for scoring.
  • Duplicate entries, errors(bust) or NIL log entries will not be counted for scoring and will not carry any penalty either.
  • Checklog submission are allowed
  • Use of Spotting Software and Clusters is encouraged.
  • Self-Spotting is not allowed.
  • Log submission will be due in 7 days time from the date of contest conclusion.
  • Logs submitted after deadline will be considered as checklog.
  • All participants are encouraged to use software logging and submit the log in Cabrillo format only.
  • Paper logs will not be accepted.
  • Logs to be sent as email attachments to [email protected] with their callsign marked in the subject line.
  • Any clarifications must be sent on email to [email protected].
  • All logs received will be confirmed via email.

Awards
Certificates

  • Electronic certificates will be made available for download for everyone that submits an entry provided the log is submitted before the deadline

Plaques

  • DX
    • Top score in each category will receive a Plaque
    • Special WAVU (Worked All VU) award will be presented to top 3 DX stations who work atleast 10 Indian States/UTs overall across bands / modes.
  • VU – Top score in each category will receive a Plaque (min 5 participants must have submitted logs for that particular category).
